Ma’akum Developmental Foundation MAAKUM signs an agreement of implementing the project “Improving the Educational Infrastructure in Taiz University”.

Based on the cooperation agreement signed by both Taiz University and MAAKUM Foundation years ago, to strengthen the effective partnership between the social society and the governmental bodies aiming to enhance the institutional flexibility, resilience, stability and sustainable recovery, and to embody the slogan, “With Education.. We Build the Future”, Taiz University and Ma’akum Developmental Foundation MAAKUM signed today an agreement of implementing the project, “Improving the Educational Infrastructure in Taiz University”, which includes equipping the computer lab of the Cyber Security Department in the Faculty of Engineering with (30) desktop computers, in line with the the specialization’s needs, and a 65-inch screen, in addition to maintaining, renovating and furnishing the lab in a way that provides a suitable educational environment.
This project is funded by a businessman from Taiz Governorate and implemented by Ma’akum Developmental Foundation MAAKUM.
The project embodies the role of the private sector in the governorate in the effective partnership to serve the society. It also demonstrates the importance of uniting efforts of both the public sector and social society in order to improve the quality of education and achieve sustainable development.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Abdulhameed Hameed Mohammed, Chairman of Ma’akum Developmental Foundation, representative of the Foundation, and Dr. Ryadh Al-Oqab, Vise President of Taiz University, representative of the University.
