Ma’akum Development Foundation implements an economic empowerment project for future entrepreneurs, graduates of the Teach Me a Career program7

Under the slogan “From need to production” and within the programs of the livelihood sector, the Ma’AKUM Development Foundation is implementing the economic empowerment project for future pioneers, which includes providing (95) young men and women with economic empowerment tools that include (55) laptops, (20) sewing machines, and ( 20) Decorative kit bag..

The Director General of the Office of Social Affairs and Labor, Mr. Abdo Ali, praised the vocational and vocational training and rehabilitation projects implemented by the Ma’akum Development Foundation, represented by the Teach Me a Profession program for the seventh consecutive year in training and empowerment, which helps hundreds of young people and women who support their families to become self-reliant and provide sources of income for these families in light of... Harsh economic and living conditions, stressing that economic empowerment programs and projects contribute effectively to alleviating poverty and unemployment in society.

For his part, the Executive Director of Ma’akum Development Company, Yasser Al-Fatini, confirmed that the organization has completed the project to train these graduates within the “Teach Me a Profession7” project in four areas: graphics and montage, sewing and embroidery, interior decoration, and the International Computer Driving License.
Their rehabilitation and training continued for more than two months, with more than (1,100) hours of theoretical and practical training undergone by (42) male and (53) male trainees.

It is worth noting that there is a strong and increasing demand among young people and women to join such vocational training programs because they have seen its direct impact in changing the economic level of families and investing in such opportunities that enhance self-sufficiency and also enhance the ability of these families to withstand and recover from the effects of conflict.
