Taiz… As part of its vision for sustainable solutions to the water crisis and improving the quality of its sources, and in coordination with the local authority and the WASH cluster, the #MaAKUM_Development_Foundation_MAAKUM opened today the project to build a water tank for the village of Hamda in the Al-Silw District, in the presence of the Director of the Rural Water Office in the District, Engineer/Issam Pasha, and the Community Participation Officer in the District/Mansour Al-Qahtani. Sheikh Haider Thabet and members of the project’s community committee.

The construction of the collecting tank, which has a capacity of 100 m3 and will benefit more than 2,000 people, is part of efforts to confront climate change and increasing drought and achieve water security for the village of Hamda and its neighboring villages, including the Al-Farouq Mosque and School.
