As part of the project, “Promote Community Safety & Security and Public Services,” #Ma‘akum_Developmental_Foundation_MAAKUM completes the implementation of the project that targets the headquarters of the Civil Status Department in Taiz Gov.

The project aims to improve the security systems of the headquarters of the Civil Status Department so as to promote both community and institutional security.

This project took place after the Foundation’s signing a memorandum of understanding with the Civil Status Department, aiming at engaging CSOs in promoting community safety and security, achieving institutional sustainable recovery and resilience, improving the infrastructure of safety & security systems, creating a safe work environment for both employees and civilians and protecting people’s data and documents.

The project included a central surveillance unit, containing: a modem router, a switch, a 1-terabyte hard disk, a 16-channel network video recorder and four surveillance cameras, in addition to an awareness training program for the staff.
