Within the efforts of TIKA Agency in Taiz and in the presence of an official government represented by Dr Rajah Almoliki, the Director General of the Public Health and Population Office, in Taiz Governorate, #Ma’akum_Developmental_Foundation_ mdf implemented a project to increase the capacity of the children’s incubators department at Aljomhori hospital in Taiz through the supply, installation and operation of (4) incubators and (8) Phototherapy has been added to the department.

The Director General of the Governorate Health Office confirmed that mdf is one of the main partners of the health sector in the governorate, considering that incubators and heating devices are among the most important equipment for the incubators and obstetrics department in the hospital..

He pointed out that the need for incubators is still urgent and great in the Yemeni Swedish hospital in Taiz, thanking Tika Turkish and appealing to them Providing more support in the field of incubators and the health
sector in general.

In turn, Dr Nashwan Alhosami, the Director-General of the hospital, confirmed that the incubators department should have a capacity of 33 incubators, while there are currently only 50%, and the department still needs 16 incubators to complete its capacity and contribute to alleviating the people by providing free services to care for premature babies and save their lives.

The director of the hospital also stated that 450 births received by the maternity and obstetric emergency department during one month, 30% of which need incubators, which causes a huge deficit in the incubators department, which compels them to transfer newborns in need of care in incubators to other hospitals that provide this service with high cost which become so difficult for the families.

For his part, Mr / Yasser Al-Oshari, the health sector coordinator in the Foundation, appealed to the interested parties, philanthropists and businessmen and called them to put their fingerprints on human development in this holy month by supporting health projects and programs that continue, extend and serve generations and alleviate their suffering and pain.
