Prof. Dr. Riyad Al-oqab, Vice President for Student Affairs, honored this morning the President of Ma’akum Developmental Foundation Dr. Abdulhameed Al-Yousifi in recognition of their contributions to the educational process at Taiz University During the honoring, the Vice President for Student Affairs praised all efforts exerted by the foundation It comes within the framework of the community partnership between the university and the institution
Dr. Al-Oqab pointed out that Ma’akum Developmental Foundation had a prominent role in supporting the educational process at Taiz University through its various contributions in alleviating the humanitarian crisis caused by the war in Yemen in general and Taiz in particular. The first institutions that contributed to the normalization of the educational process in the university through rehabilitation of the ground role of students housing and their contribution in the distribution of food baskets to all employees of Taiz University , due to the growing need, as a result of the deterioration in the humanitarian situation and living in the province. As well as sponsoring many of the cultural and sports activities held by the university
From his part, Dr. Abdulhameed Al-Yousifi, Chairman of Ma’akum Developmental Foundation, said that the Foundation pays great attention to Taiz University because this educational institution has worked to normalize public life in Taiz since the first moments. Thus, we are always keen to support Taiz University as a member of the University and requires all of us to do everything we can to support the educational process at Taiz University . To strengthen this partnership, the Foundation today provides the shield of MDF to Taiz University in recognition of its role and our confirmation of the continuation of this strategic partnership and its embodiment through future relief, cultural and developmental .
Thanking the leadership of the University represented by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Shuaibi, President of the University and Prof. Dr. Riad Al-oqab, Vice President for Student Affairs for their cooperation and their role in the normalization of educational life, which has resulted in the continuation of the role of the University, which restore life to the province in general.
